Recruitment privacy notice
How we handle applicant information
Applying for a job with AuctionWars means sharing personal information with us. Here is exactly what we do with it.
What we collect
Your name, contact number, email address, the position you applied for, your experience and the CV you attach. Nothing more than we need to assess your application.
Why we use it
Only to consider you for the role you applied for, to contact you about your application and to keep a record of the recruitment process. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing.
Who sees it
AuctionWars recruitment and management staff only. Your CV is stored privately and is opened through a secure, expiring link rather than a public address.
How long we keep it
Applications are kept for up to 12 months after the position is filled, then deleted, unless you agree to us keeping them on file for future vacancies.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete your application at any time. Email the recruitment inbox and we will action it.
Sharing and storage
Information is stored on our recruitment systems and only shared with service providers who help us run them, or where the law requires it. It is handled in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Questions about your information, or want it removed? Email hr@auctionwars.co.za with the subject line “Recruitment privacy request”.
