Are you a confident, target-driven salesperson with a passion for vehicles and the motor industry? AuctionWars is looking for a motivated Sales Associate to help grow our buyer and seller network and drive vehicle consignment sales.

Key responsibilities

Source vehicles from private sellers, dealers, fleets and businesses.
Contact prospective buyers and sellers by phone, email and WhatsApp.
Generate leads, follow up on enquiries and convert opportunities into sales.
Explain auction procedures, registration requirements and selling options.
Build long-term relationships with clients and maintain accurate sales records.
Work towards agreed sales targets and business growth objectives.

Requirements

Matric (Grade 12).
Proven sales experience; motor industry or vehicle auction experience is advantageous.
Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
Comfortable making outbound calls and following up on leads.
Computer literate with good administrative skills.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle preferred.
Self-motivated, professional and target-driven.

Remuneration

Basic salary and/or commission structure to be confirmed with shortlisted candidates.

Applications are kept for up to 12 months after the position is filled, then deleted, unless you agree to us keeping them on file for future vacancies.

Your rights

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete your application at any time. Email the recruitment inbox and we will action it.

Sharing and storage

Information is stored on our recruitment systems and only shared with service providers who help us run them, or where the law requires it. It is handled in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
